Has anyone found small business courses/workshops to be helpful? I'm scrolling through one from the Arizona commerce authority targeted towards "small businesses", but they're talking about getting a loan to start your business, hiring employees, how your business needs to solve a problem in the market, how buying a business might be a better option to start than beginning a new one.
NONE of this seems applicable to starting a single person art business. All I wanted to know was legal shit like when I need to register my business/if I can start without having a business license because sales will be so small , what tax shit I need to figure out, etc. I suppose the business marketing guides/research stuff could be helpful, along with some other things. But this all seems geared towards more... medium businesses than small businesses. Maybe I have the wrong idea of what a small business counts as.
