This is indeed a very crazy thought that came to my head today and not sure even CW will allow such a story or have balls to do it tbh but hear me for a second.
So far we have been thinking the person who is going to die is an adult and a member of team Arrow but what if it is not an adult but a child and Dhark's\Hive's actions causes the death and Oliver couldn't prevent it? in the limo scene and even in the grave scene I thought I saw a hint of self disgust as well from both Oliver and Felicity and the feeling of that its partly their fault as well.
What if the battle Arrow vs Dhark gonna cost either the life of Sara Dig's daughter? I am not saying Dhark will directly kill a child here as I don't see him falling that low but one of his order's could backfire and collapse hard. Also why Dig and his wife not present there could be due to them getting injured to a point that they cannot even attend the funeral? And worst of all team Arrow saved Dhark's family and child but here what if his actions caused the death of a child team Arrow loves? And Oliver is the godfather of little Sara as well so it could even weigh on him more emotionally.
Even if the person in the grave is Dig, Laurel or Thea I don't think Felicity would straight up ask Oliver to murder whoever is responsible like that in a manner like that cos so far everyone have seen what Oliver went through and every time one of them(Felicity, Dig, Laurel, Thea and even Lance sometimes) at least stopped him from falling to that dark abyss again no matter the cost is(Moira, Tommy and even Sara when she died for the second time) and reminded him why he stopped killing. But if that's a child that is dead due to this war things could change fast and they all are responsible as well.
Idk tbh, just a crazy thought that came to my head, what you guys think?
