Question for Alloromos about romantic love

Hey Allos,
Does the romantic love experience always come with a risk of irrational emotions where you may feel romantically attached to a person beyond rational reason?
I've never had that experience in which I've loved a friend or partner despite having no other connections - like special interests, mutual goals, or social chemistry.
Is that just for some people who have experienced trauma - or is that what it's like just to be romantically in love?
