We're back. Kind of. Clearing out the cobwebs. Much stuff broken. Much stuff coming. More details to come. So much spam.

Has anyone come out but then realized they weren’t aro?

Post Body

I realize this is kind of a weird question but I figured this would be a good place to ask. For context I’m a 16 year old male and had never felt romantic connections. I started looking around to try and find why I didn’t get these feelings. After a little bit of looking I assumed I was aro. I then came out to a couple close friends a few months ago however, recently I started liking this girl. My friends were supportive but I feel weird telling them about this.

This probably isn’t as big of a problem as I’m making it but I’m just wondering if anyone else has gone through this and if anyone has advice on how to deal with it.

I discovered at 40 that I'm not aro... while dating someone else who thought she was aro.
