I don’t know really how to label myself, but I only have romantic feelings for celebrities and authority figures and otherwise very inaccessible people. But I want a partner. I’m 36 and have dated and generally break up because I have no strong feelings. But I’d like a life partner and I’m getting older. Should I hold out and wait for myself to maybe have strong feelings for someone? Or build something with someone I like and am attracted enough to to be intimate? I’m leaning towards the latter, but I’m afraid no one would ever want that with me.
