I’ve recently discovered and come out to some people as aroflux… including the people im in an open relationship with, one of which, who was my first partner ever, decided that it would be best to just be friends so she could get the same amount of love all the time, which I understand and respect, but it still makes me sad sometimes.
We were in an online relationship but over the two years I had bought her gifts and hoped someday we’d meet and be able to hold eachother close and do stuff together and I guess I’m just worried that won’t happen bc we’re best friends not lovers, even tho I still deeply want to…
Would it be stupid to hope we can still do those things… is it hurtful to her?… I really just want to be able to make sure she’s safe and happy… being with her gave me comfort that I’d be able to help and protect her… I don’t have that anymore…
