Hey folks,

I received AT orders from HRC in May. Prior to the start of orders I transferred units. I attended the course and got paid, but for some reason a temporary assignment was put in IPPS-A back to my old unit for the duration of the course. That temp assignment hasnt been "closed out" (their words not mine).

The issue is I'm using post 9/11 GI bill for school. For some reason that temporary assignment is reporting me as on active duty to "the system" (whatever system that is). So the VA isnt paying me housing allowance, they wont accept orders as proof either.

I've actively drilled since then and gotten paid standard TPU pay, but "the system" still shows me active duty even though every system I can see shows I attended the course and completed it and I'm back in TPU status.

I have an IPPS-A case open but neither unit (previous or current) can modify the temp assignment.

Has anyone experienced this, know a solution or know someone I can call?
