"Unsure. AT was a mess that was blatantly ignored by Squadron when the mass formation was held. NCOs were told they had plenty of time to train despite the fact they were repeatedly forced into several hour meetings, paired with the severe lack of E-6 and above. The SCO had asked if everyone was having a good AT, and when A TRP and B TRP both were mostly silent in their response due to above reasons alongside the constant changing of plans, some of which were just before the scheduled time for the event, he had said, "Well let's try that again." Rather than being a fucking rational leader and apologizing for the circumstances that any reasonable person would be able to acknowledge, the SCO instead went for the answer he wanted over the answer he got."
This was my answer to the question on where I stood on reenlistment and why. This command team has lacked since they took over. Talking to others while at drill, 1SG is gonna get smacked for never leaving his office unless it's to smoke, rather than meet his NCOs. Commander is gonna get smacked for giving the impression that he only cares about numbers, which was conveyed to me prior to his change of command.
Bonus story: During AT, he approached someone who was close to ETSing, asking what would make them stay. The E-4 said "With all due respect sir, my happiness means a lot to me, and I'm not happy here." To which, the commander replied, "It is what it is."
I'll take a plate with chow mein, orange chicken, and honey walnut shrimp please.
