legal protections upon enlisting?
Post Body

Hey guys & gals, I'll keep this one short. I enlisted last Thursday, active, I had called my boss once I found out I was cleared to enlist, and gave him my notice that I was going to MEPS and would be quitting, just over 2 week notice. Well last Friday was payday but in an entirely unrelated coincidence there was a payroll issue and I wasn't paid. Says he'll get me a check so no big it's happened before and heade it good. Well it's been a whole week and still no check, and when I asked yesterday his eyes said the whole story. Pretty sure he's trying to not pay me my last few checks, the total amount will be 5k before taxes. Is there any sort of legal protection for someone who enlisted and now they're not getting their pay because they enlisted in the army?
