As some here may know, I'm ETSing in the next handful of months, already signed up for school, now looking at a part time job to supplement MHA.
So I found a job on USAJobs.gov, submitted my application, claimed 5 point preference, and now they want paperwork to prove my preference. The main thing they ask for is a DD214 (which I obviously don't have yet) or a Certification of discharge that says I have the requisite time, will receive an honorable discharge, and am within 4 months of discharge.
Where or who does this certification come from? At the moment, I'm thinking of just typing up a memorandum and including my ERB. I would ask my leadership, but the job closes Friday, and I wouldn't expect an answer from them for a couple weeks, if they gave me one at all.
