My uncle passed away last week. My 1sgt and CO granted me regular leave. So last Thursday I tell 1sgt that I am going to leave Friday am. He tells me to just fill the leave form out sign it and hand it over to the training room. Told me not to worry about signing out. Just to get out of there and make sure he or training room had the leave form.
Now my dilemma is, I am suppose to go on terminal leave April 18th. I ets may 5th and only had 18 days. So I took ten days for my uncles funeral services. I already have my ETS Leave form signed and control number. I was thinking of just heading to transition first thing Monday morning with this leave form.
Question is, is 1sgt hooking me up by not having me sign out and just taking it? And should I just go to transition with my original leave form and try to get out the 18th. How fucked can I get if I do this then they charge me while I am out? Just pay back the days?
Thanks for any advice!
