I have never done land nav
Post Body

8-year SSG POG. Ft Sill land nav course got flooded or something and our drills just pencil whipped the land nav req for us. Never did it at DLI obviously, wasn’t part of AIT or BLC/ALC curriculum when I went through, and I somehow have just not done it at any duty assignments. I think I missed a land nav course back at 2CR because I was in another class. Never once in my army career have I plotted a point and had to go find it.

What sort of staple army thing have you never done?

Somehow 7 years in and I have over 20 vehicles and equipment on my license, with over countless hours and somehow never thought to put in for an expert drivers badge and no one has thought or cared to put on in for me 😂
