How do you motivate soldiers to care about their fitness, when they don’t care themselves. As a e4 running pt for my shift I have a few other e4s who are lackluster in physical fitness to say the least. I get everyone takes to criticism and advice different, wether it be positive or negative reinforcement. But, some individuals just don’t give a shit, and it’s not just pt it’s about anything in their lives. This is a problem army and country wide and there has to be a solution or answer somewhere. Or are some people just not worth putting effort into. I just don’t want to be a leader down the line who just throws disciplinary actions at soldiers cause there is nothing else to do. And I know go SOF.
