Souls douche wanting to get started on my AC journey

Hey all, been playing Souls games for a hot minute at this point and I knew of Armored Core's existence beforehand but never knew much about it. I knew it was a mech shooter but the only mech shooter I played was MechAssault back on the original Xbox. And Custom Robo if that counts. Loved both of those games and I'm excited for AC6. So where should I start?
