[Spoiler] Game journos who criticized the "lack of" story weren't paying attention. There's strong, well-written characters in AC6, and the story is expansive regardless of ending.

Post Body

Walter - Goes from treating you like his property to caring for your well-being, then standing up for you and ultimately entrusting you with his life legacy (and he had some great points too, Coral can take over the universe if left unchecked). In one ending, he is reprogrammed by Arquebus into fighting you, and even after being defeated he's glad you found a friend.

Snail - Arrogant corp leader who sees you as nothing more than an outdated product. Even when you do well, he criticizes you.

Carla - Keeps Walter's true motivations hidden from you at the start, eventually opens up after Chapter 4 and the big reveal about their mission. It is foreshadowed that she's on your side due to her tone when speaking to you from the start.

Rusty - Don't need to even get into this guy. "Rubicon still needs me. Who needs you?" Some of the best lines in any FromSoft game.

Iguazu - The typical underperforming jealous type. He is insecure about his own skills and it kills him to see how much better you "a lowly gen 4" are. He keeps upgrading his AC to extremes (NG , NG ) but it doesn't matter how good his gear gets because he is his own worst enemy.
