Beating AC1 without human plus and then getting human plus in Project Phantasma

I always remember playing Project Phantasma when I was younger and being so shit at the game that I would always get the human plus upgrades and it made it easy for me. Now that I have all the PS1 games on Vita, is it possible to transfer a 100% beaten normally AC1 save to PP and then get human plus in Project Phantasma?

I'm only asking because I have all the best weapons from AC1 But I just want to see if I can break the games further by starting the first one normally and then going into the first expansion and just breaking it by getting human plus.
