Throughout the entire campaign I was worried about stepping on a mine, walking around the deserted town of Oreokastro was pretty intense. And I really liked the fragmented memories found within the town, they painted a great picture of the soon to be decimated town.
I thought the memory scenarios were amazing as well, you went from defending shit from the FIA, to stealing cars for the FIA, fuckin bombing the town as CSAT (allegedly), running away from the conflict (RIP Markos) and finally shooting up NATO and FIA inside the church. The whole campaign sorta made you feel for everybody involved except for the CSAT black ops shit. I really loved the dialogue between MacDade and Katherine, I think that made the story much better.
The biggest takeaway was the brothers, Alexis and Markos. The whole story of the two was interesting, Alexis fighting and Markos sorta just “making his peace” about it. Alexis died and Markos died from the same mines which were placed by fleeing AAF soldiers. That sorta got to me, because Alexis and Markos both survived the initial invasion of Oreokastro, only for Alexis to die trying to fight off the AAF major and lieutenant in the church, and then Markos going over to the church to find his brothers body only to die from mines also placed my the troops.
I really loved this campaign, it was a great little story and I highly recommend it to everyone
