Hey everyone,
In arma 2 OA I remember that I was able to download .ogg files, define them with a config file in the my document's mission folder, and then call them in the editor by using the "say3d" command.
Now, though, whenever I try to do the same thing, I run into an error when I try to have the sound play in a 3d way. I've defined the sounds with the config file, and I get the sounds to play using a trigger, although they're 2d (tied to the player) and not originating from somewhere in the environment (3d).
Using what should work doesn't: this say3d "01" doesn't work, this say3d "01.ogg" doesn't work... naming the object "object" and then object say3d "01" doesn't work either.
Does anyone have any experience with placing 3d custom sounds?
Thank you,
