Alright, everyone is currently hyped for the anime adaptation for our lovely game here, including me. After becoming a music company, a fashion company, now HG is aiming to create anime adaptation, maybe a long term one. Our beloved Lowlight-sama seems to be very ambitious here.

However, there are many cases of game's anime adaptation that failed badly and I can't shake the feeling that they might mess it up.

From how they delivered the title, I suspect they are planning to make this a long term plan. Not a single season to advertise the game, then stop. Of course, this makes the quality of our first season way more important, as every long term campaign needs a strong foundation to keep running.

Firstly, how to avoid bad pacing, like rushing too much or slowing down too much? I heard that the first season will cover chapter 0 until chapter 3, the entire "Hours of an Awakening" arc. Usually, a season has 12-14 episode, or 24-26 episode. How do you think they should determine how many episode for each chapter?

Secondly, the entire first arc feels underwhelming if we were to compare it with the next arc, or even the side stories. For example, I feel confused what is happening in the beginning of the story, or Misha's death that seems dumb. Obviously, your opinion may differ but we can't deny that there are flaws in the beginning of the story. If this really is a long term plan, it's even more urgent to fix those flaws. How to avoid and fix those flaws according to your opinion?
