Hey guys.
I've been tracking my 1.5.3 for about 2 weeks now, and decided to show what I've got. v4v on the official discord also provided some data with his 2.4.3 base, to draw contrast. This post will be looking at 1.5.3 though, since I think 2.4.3 is already proven to be reasonably balanced and doesn't need too much looking into.
I used a routine that fits my daily life, so its not perfect rotations. I keep my best characters on shift most of the time, and put them in the dorm before I go to bed, then swap them back in when I wake up, so they're in the dorm for about 7 hours per day.
In the interest of minimising variables, I've only droned my metal production, rather than trade posts. Because of that, the final LMD generation is probably lower than it should be. It costs 24 drones to make a bar, ~24 drones per bar in a trade, and it takes me about 15 hours to make 200 drones, so that's up to 13 drones (6500 value) you could transfer from production and trading if you want.
I've also done some quick math to estimate the viability for someone getting similar 1.5.3 results, if they were mainly interested in E2ing. This just assumes you are interested in keeping the same ratio in XP and LMD as the ratio needed to reach a particular goal level.
I did account for LMD you'd get spending 240 Sanity on anything every day (I did not adjust it for the 300 and 340 columns).
- CE5 LMD Per Week is how much LMD needs to come from CE5 runs, after subtracting base LMD and sanity spent doing whatever.
- Total Sanity is how much Sanity that would cost (7140 LMD per 30 Sanity).
- 240 is simply sanity per day.
- 300 is sanity per day with Monthly card. Although you can save some extra potions on none CE days, to use on CE days.
- 340 is just following the trend that we have been getting a lot of free potions lately. Or you could take it as banking some sanity from the day before (wouldn't work between Saturday and Sunday since they're both CE days).
Interesting to note, the higher up E2 you go, and the lower rarity the characters, the less often you need to grind LMD.
All of this is purely illustrative, I wasn't strict enough in my routine to call these numbers definitive, and my shift lineup did change a bit as I went. There's too much involved to make a one size fits all recommendation from this, although I think it would be helpful to most player's to run 1.5.3 at least some of the time (note you don't want to switch too often as its wasted drones).
Feel free to comment with your own output. If you didn't know you can check up to the last 3 days of output in the Command Centre. I might even collate everything (but probably not, I'm pretty lazy).
