I mean I can understand why people already invested in the LCG or used to LCG/Board Game pricing would prefer the new one, but coming from MtG I'd rather just spend $20~30 every other month on a new Scenario or new Investigator Cards, that seems more digestible to me vs the current model. I can see why this model was annoying for people who exclusively ship and wanting to be financially wise and wait for the full release but not wanting to deal with spoilers... but on the flipside I imagine there are also folks like me who like the anticipation of getting new cards every other month and there being a lower floor to buying them to the point I can justify getting a Mythos Pack on the way from the grocery (It does help that my LGSes aren't that far either lol)
There's still a lot of them in circulation in the LGS I bought from but my biggest concern is if I dip my toes to this model for an entire expansion it being out of print I might end up causing myself to lose out or having to buy doubles for the ones I missed through the more expensive Campaign Expansion.
EDIT:
Good points on people who would be mostly impacted by the previous model on Import Fees as well as just the convenience of having an option where all of them are just available. As well as people who would prefer to play these scenarios all in one go.
Personally, my playgroup doesn't play as frequently as we would like, so having to wait several months to get the next Mythos pack wouldn't be an immediate hindrance. Coming from a Tabletop RPG background waiting a week/several weeks/a month to get back into a campaign setting didn't also seem to be a big issue
I also do have an LGS where I buy games from so I'm not the one importing these. But yeah, I was seeing a certain convenience in just buying the first several scenarios of a campaign first then just getting the rest later down the line.
Though, I would I say I overestimated how often LCGs actually get reprints in circulation in the market. I didn't realize it can take more than a handful of months to even years for stock to become available to the point that scalping can be a huge issue.
