They establish at this point in the game, it's past midnight and is now Christmas Day or the 25th of December. But here, Batman says the bomb is set to go off on December 31st. If you use basic math, 7 days from Christmas would be the 1st of January. Unless there's somehow multiple daylight savings in one week, this makes little to no sense.
