How this relates to the remix in many ways are…

Yes we can be excited that Ari got to work with her idol, and we can not enjoy the song.

Yes we can actually enjoy the song, and not invalidate others’ dislike for the song.

Yes we can agree that it could have been better if it was an entirely different song, and feel like Mariah was the perfect fit for this specific song.

My personal take using “…yes, and…” is that — yes it isn’t my favorite, isn’t even in my top ten, and it’s actually not that bad. I can enjoy listening to it here and there.

You can almost say that when Ari received Mariah’s input she also applied “…yes, and…” and did the best she could.

Just my thoughts! Has nothing to do with “being grateful” because I understand that can be annoying, and also has nothing to do with completely exaggerating the hate for Ari, Mariah, and the song itself.
