Y'bneth's ult + Baldum's ult

I just finished a game where the enemy Baldum was able to use his ult to cancel mine (Y'bneth), more than once.
Y'bneth 's ult states that the tree is immune to control effects while channeling. Is this a bug?

My guess is that it’s like Alester or Arum where their ultimates ignore CC immunity.

I could still be a bug because I remember when baldum was released, he could use his Ult to reset the DS or AD if they enemy team was about to kill it.
