I've never played with Arduino but was considering building something for fun as an experiment.
Record Inputs
The basic idea would be to have 4-5 capacitive sensors to record each button press. The polling interval of each touch sensor would need to, at a guess, be 5-10ms.
Playback Inputs
Afterward, one could playback the recorded inputs on 4-5 LRA vibration motors by hitting a button. The goal would be to simulate the recorded input press timings. Not sure the speed at which these haptic sensors can be turned on/off.
These are the things I'm curious about, and I hope someone can help clarify them for me.
- Can a touch sensor get within a 5-10ms capture window?
- Can LRA motors playback within that timing window?
- If the LRA vibration motors cant provide the playback timing, are there others that can? If not, could other sensors provide haptic playback with that timing range?
