Question about powering a project via USB
Post Body

I'm just using an atmega328 on a breadboard to power 10 5mm leds. Can I power the atmega by using the a usb cable from my computer? Would there be any danger in doing so? Any need for a capacitor across the power cables going into the atmega?

For clarification, I just cut the end off an old usb cable and am using just the and - wires inside
