Using C++ with arduino

Post Body

Hi! I’m relatively new to arduino. I’ve made some basic tools with arduino. For a project, I’m being asked to utilize a .cpp instead of .ino. What I’m struggling with is how to read in inputs a la “analogRead”. I can do the rest of the program just fine, but how to read in inputs is where I’m struggling. Idk if there is a simple way to handle the conversion of my .ino to .cpp. Any help would be appreciated.
