Ok. So new to this area.
I recently got into sim racing. A cool thing from sim racing is whatβs called a DDU or data display unit. This is just a simple display that has things like what gear you are in, speed, shift, lap time etc.
Now these can be rather expensive. What I am looking to do is super similar to this project: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/simracing-dashboard-vocore
Now this screen uses usb out for display. And there is a software online to control the arduino led lights and the display screen. It is called simhub.
Essentially I am trying to do the same thing, an arduino pro micro for some LED lights as well as a display screen all in 1 3d printed case. Instead of this usb screen I was trying to use this: https://a.co/d/dhfrTwk
8.8β wide screen powered by usb micro and mini hdmi for video in from the pc.
Is there anyway I can just use a single cable in (usb c can take video data and power right?) and power both the screen and arduino and be able to pass through the video?
Thanks in advance. I am really new and just trying to do some diy and learn along the way.
