Hi!
I've dabbled in Arduino a bit and really love it. My 11 year old has recently started using Scratch at school and home and really enjoys it. He also uses the MicroBit at school and loves it. Both these things use drag and drop coding. He has had a small amount of experience of 'proper' coding, but says he found it a bit overwhelming. But he does want to learn. He is currently being assessed for (mild) dyslexia and ADHD and writing is something that he finds a bit more taxing/has less patience for, although he is capable.
Can anyone suggest an arduino (or similar) set that would teach him coding/electronics but slowly and not throw him in the deep end with tons of writing straight away. I can help him of course, but we would need a book/instructions on the coding to use.
Thanks!
