Remote Alarm Clock with Arduino Uno?

Hey all.
I have an Arduino Uno R3. I would like to make an alarm with it that could be rang remotely. By remotely I mean not on wifi or through Bluetooth. I understand I may have to create some sort of app for this but don’t know where to start.
All of the components I have came with the starter kit, but I’m willing to buy whatever is needed. I have a bit more than basic coding knowledge but can learn what I need to.
