Some time ago I had gotten into tinkering with avr chips and using a cable to program the chip to build my own little circuits and practice my programming skills (just for tinkering) .... I then discovered arduinos which i love.. but i miss just having my little microchip on a breadboard without all the mysterious stuff being handled by the arduino.. I cant find my old usb programming cable and im wondering if i can use the arduino the accomplish this.. i'm not talking about burning the arduino to a chip .. im just talking about using it as a stand alone programmer. thanks!
