Glastonbury 2023: The worst performance I’ve personally seen

Post Body

I’m very lucky that Friday night was my 17th time seeing the band. However, for me, it was comfortably the worst performance I’ve seen them give.

The set lacked any sense of occasion, the songs were all played at a such a slow tempo, with Jamie’s guitar playing notably poor (particularly on cornerstone)

I can also say for certain that Alex lost the attention of the crowd very quickly. This was, I think - due to his lack of interaction and the pacing of the set.

Very strange emotions for me. I’ve always backed Alex/the band to the hills, but I can’t shy away from the criticism this time.

What do others think?
