Every piece did its thing.
Kyanite was extremely handy in these conditions. It was maybe 50’s F to 40’s F on trail. Going up 3000ft elevation does get warm so delayer.
Once at summit, it was very windy and chilly, so topped on the Beta LT and just vibed and picnic at the summit.
Later at night, it goes down to like 30’s and being static, the thorium kept me warm. To the point I was actually hot. Sitting on a swing outside..
In the morning temps were mid 40’s so I took the Atom Lt to take out some trash at the bear can.
Also late night tried the atom with the beanie… still was cold, so I recommend the thorium for static layer in the snow!
The pants and shirt are bulletproof as always. Gamma pants is breathable and layered over my smartwool baselayer. Never had swampy ass.
Cormac shirt dries up really really quickly for my. I can have it drenched in sweat and maybe 15 - 20 minutes it’s fine!!
Yosemite was legit fun. Did 16 miles, and over 7000 ft elevation in span of 2 days!
