Installing old kernel on Dell XPS 9570

So I'm trying to install Arch on the Dell XPS 9570 there is a known bug with the display when using the linux 5.0.X kernel. I have reverted to old kernels before but have never tried to install an old kernel on a new computer. I'm have trouble finding any documention on how to do this.
