Hey guys!

As I can see by the recent posts and whatnot it seems that the game is going as good as ever. I'm glad to see that there is still a 3-4k GS disparity. I'm also glad to see that as long as you have a guild with decent membership that you can pretty much free farm whatever you want. I'm glad to see that you have consistent, and new challenging pvm dungeons and bosses (lol).

I have been gone from this game for just over a year now. I jump on reddit to see if this game is improving, and if I can stomach to give it another try one day. It's safe to say that at this rate, I will never be back. As long as you allow p2w at this massive scale, the little guy can't compete. If I was able to come back, I would have to spend an average of $500 per month (on the low end) to keep up.

Mind you, at one point in this game I was the only person on the entire NA cluster with a mythic T6 bandit king. I was top page for all servers in GS, and the only way that I was able to do it to begin with is that I got extremely lucky. Once I regraded my bow to mythic, I had to upgrade the rest of my gear. Because I worked 50 hrs/week I could not log in and do trade runs all day long, like some people are able to do. The only way to keep up on the gear curve was to buy apex. I personally spent over $6k to upgrade my gear, and be the most geared primeval at the time.

For me to come back to this game and even be competitive, I would have to get a legendary t7 weapon (180k) and divine obs t5 (40k), or divine delphinad fully gemmed (40-50k) and epic t6 offhands (30k each). Lets round and say it would cost 400k gold to get me back to even close to where I was. If I bought apex and sold at 850g each, it would cost me $2400. I would have to work 90 hours to pay for that.

Let's just analyze what I just said. Notice that I didn't calculate how many trade runs I would need to do. I didn't calculate how many farms I would have to harvest. I didn't calculate how many runs of mistsong I would need to do. I went straight to how many hours I would have to work IRL to be able to afford to re-enter your game.

Please friends, do not come back to this game. For those of you that know me, and still play this game; consider quitting. I have been happier than ever knowing that I am not throwing away money to this cesspool of a game every month to keep up with the gear curve. Also, congrats to pokemon on winning their first server battle. Lord knows Willy needed that confidence boost.
