Been offered an apprenticeship, advice/help wanted
Post Body

I've been offered a L2 arborist apprenticeship from my local council, truth be told I was looking for any job that I could do along side barbering as that's my passion/desire and this apprenticeship got offered via family who work in the council and put a word in for me since I'm looking for work.

My head isn't in arboriculture and I dont have a great desire to do this job, however I'm being told to complete the 18 months and get a qualification under my belt alongside barbering, and to give it a go and atleast get a good job, however my point is that it seems a industry you need to be committed, willing to learn etc and really care about to work in.

What's your guys thoughts? Am I better off just getting a regular 9-5 which I don't have to do all this extra work i.e exams, tickets etc for or would you recommend to get the qual.
