Broken cypress

During a recent storm our cypress broke off two of the 3 tops from the trunks, Approx 8’ each. We called the tree guys and they suggested we remove it as well as the large spruce. They both are approx 50’ tall and are very close together.
The question, are they just trying to milk me or is this a danger? The trees are within 20’ of my home.
