Need advice on a bald cypress.

We have a bald cypress that is about 14 years old. I like the look and it provides some shade from my front window, which faces West.
I have concerns of them messing up water lines or worse, causing driveway issues.
It makes me sick thinking about paying a bunch of money to have it removed AND starting over on a new tree.
The front yard is slightly sloped towards the street and doesn’t hold much water.
What would you do in my shoes?
