Is my Orange tree dead?
Post Body

Hi,

This orange tree is about 15 years old and I think part of it or all of it may have died. I don’t know what type it is only that it makes these oranges about 1 inch in diameter that are sour as hell. The flowers are these tiny white flowers and it happens 3-4 times per year.

It’s been in the same pot for that length of time and I change/add to the surface soil every spring when I put it outside-usually in May when it stops dropping below 10 degrees at night. I usually take it in sometime in the autumn when it starts getting cold. Years ago I forgot about it and took it inside in December and all the leaves fell off but they came back within 2 or so weeks. This year I took it inside the first week of October when I noticed the leaves were kind of dry everywhere. Two weeks later I removed all the dead leaves and it’s been like in the photos for a month except the 7 or so leaves that bloomed within a week. The wood in places is very dry and I can tell from the weight of the pot it hasn’t absorbed much of the water I gave it.

At this point I don’t know what to do. Any help would be appreciated
