I live in Florida, on the border of the 9a/b zone. I have a pasture, that used to house animals, but in the 5 years Iβve had the house, itβs flooded twice. The first time, it was about half my pasture, and only under about a foot. But then Hurricane Ian put my entire pasture under quite a few feet of water (2-5β). So I rehomed my animals.
But now I have a sunny area that does nothing. Are there any trees, preferably fruiting, that could handle the occasional flood? Or do I just appreciate my pasture as is?
