Why is Chinese Pistasche (Pistacia chinensis) such a commonly planted street tree?
Post Body
I am making a huge assumption here that it is common everywhere and not just in the downtown of the city I live in (Wichita, KS), so do feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
That being said, this tree is everywhere and I don't just mean mature trees. Every landscaping bed in the city has 5-10 Chinese Pistache seedlings popping up. What is so good about this tree that justifies it's prolific spread?
