Advice for pecan grove

I have a grove of pecan trees around my house. All 5 of them appear to have something up with the clusters, what is it? I figured it could be a fungus of sorts. Is this a threat to the trees? I'm not too worried about them producing, I just want to try and keep at least the younger one alive (plus cutting them down will be a ton of work!!)
