Monogatari is by far my number 1 anime. But I had this feeling not every one would like it so i never went to recommend it to any of my friends. Yet this past year i got really close friend with a guy I have a lot of common point. He didn’t know about monogatari. And so after lot of thinking I came to the point that he would also be the type of people why like monogatari. So I recommended it to him, he watched the entirety of bake and told me he didn’t enjoy at all, since the very beginning. My last option would be to tell him to watch kizu but at this point I m very doubtful. Have you ever recommended monogatari to friend which ended up actually enjoying it ? Is there a way to identity the ones who will like monogatari ? Should I blindly recommend monogatari to all my friends hoping some of them will see the light and ascend ? What are the odds that a random guy like monogatari ?

btw I m pretty sure this last question can be answered with statistics but I feel like the monogatari rating on any website is way too high compared to what I would expect as obviously not every one is meant to like it...
