Trijicon/Bobro QD mount for the ACOG. It should be on Trijiconās website.
Is or was an ongoing meme here because some guntuber was saying 14.5 is obsolete and outdated. People on the subreddit started mocking him.
Itās trade offs man. I love ACOG but there are things LPVOs, especially the higher end ones like Vortex Razor, NF ATACR, and so on do very well. They are durable enough, they have great eye relief from low to high, they can be daylight bright, they have variable power up to 6x, 8x, and now 10x, but as you said they weigh a lot more, they run on batteries, they need a separate mount. Despite those downsides, I believe LPVOs do outperform the ACOG at this time. Thereās a reason why the Army and Marines are moving away from the ACOG, LPVOs are the future, the next step in combat optics evolution.
Donāt get me wrong, I love ACOG thatās why I got one but thatās why I also got a spacer and QD mount to upgrade it.
Compared to other modern offerings like LPVOs and Magnifiers for red dots, the old tried and true ACOG is kinda outclassed by them. Not to say ACOGs are horrible but the small eye relief to the point your eyeball is almost kissing glass leaves a lot to be desired without upgrades.
Itās the one found on the cerakoted ECOS ACOG model with the Bobro QD, I got it off of GAFS. And yeah itās the KRAM spacer 9.0 size, itās great. No more nose to charging handle and cramping my head down.
