I picked up a .300 BLK from a fella this week who'd lost his job and needed some cash (and I apparently needed another gun). The upper is a complete Troy Industries upper (including BCG,CH,BUIS). The lower is Rise Armament (w/ ALG Defense trigger,) and some other misc stuff that isn't relevant.
My questions is really about how the RA matches up with the Troy in terms of quality/"tier". I just don't really know anything about RA. Let's say I were going to build a "nice" 5.56- would the RA be a better match for a nice upper in that build, or is it around the same level as the Troy upper?
Basically- would you leave it with the .300, and start a new 5.56 build from scratch, or would you use it in the build and buy a "lower end" lower to go back on the .300 build.
