So I recently did a 12.5 pistol build in 5.56. Using a low profile gas block, standard carbine buffer and spring. Quite overgassed throwing shells about 1-1:30. Bought some tungsten buffer weights and made it into an H3 weight buffer, with stock spring still. Made it a little better throwing about 2 o’clock.
Thought I’d give a Wojtek block a try but ended up not working with my rail. So now back to where I was previously. Debating whether I should try a Superlative/SLR gas block or just stick with the H3 and upgrade my spring? I read good things about sprinco and flat wire springs.
Barrel is a BA modern series with BCM MCMR rail. Looking for any tips or suggestions, thank you.
