Anyone have thoughts on an 18 inch barrel length for an AR platform? 5.56 cal.
I’ve got two off the shelf complete rifles that have standard 16 inch barrels.
The other one, I’m building out with a Geissele lower/BCM upper. This one needs to find a nice barrel to call home :)
This will be more of a dedicated platform for longer distance shooting (for the 5.56 cal)
I know getting into a precision rifle would be the better option, but this is what I’ve got. I don’t want to $$pend a boatload right now on stockpiling a different caliber and bolt action chassis platform for precision LR shooting.
