So, it doesn’t matter how exactly this happened, the moral of the story is “I’m a fucking idiot who needs to be more careful” no matter what.

I know the projectile left the barrel, but this was fire-formed to my chamber it looks like. Is this the jacket, or the case, of the .300 blackout round that I tried to shoot out of a 5.56 barrel? If this happened to the CASE of the cartridge, how the hell am I still alive?

Very luckily had no real injuries by the way. Something, I have no idea what, hit me in the arm hard enough to leave a light bruise through a heavy jacket though.
