Asking for everyone’s thoughts on the Trijicon ACOG’s.

I have a TA-31 horshoe dot sight. It’s calibrated for 16 inch barrel for the 223 or 5.56 62gr round. Bullet drop compensator to match this round and barrel out to 800m. The site is super clear, absolutely fantastic in fact! I have no complaints.

But then I ran across the USMC RCO version ACOG. Calibrated for the same rounds as above, out to 1,000m. BUT calibrated for a 14.5 or 20” barrel. Also the horshoe dot POI/POA appears to be smaller in size than the TA-31.

Thoughts from anyone as to the accuracy of either site for my 16” barrel M4 Colt. One better matched and/ or accurate for my given rifle? Also I like that the RCO has the additional Windage marks and vertical range estimator. But that sight is also using 28 year old technology.
