Best Lower/Upper combo

Looking to build my first AR (300 blackout) from scratch. IMO the upper is the most important part and Iām looking at possibly a BCM barrel to start the build with. What would be the best upper/lower combo? Should I get a BCM upper/lower for best fit/performance? Any suggestions on a better combo? I have very limited experience and appreciate any help or suggestions you guys may have!
